About me

June Park, born in the far-east mystic land of South Korea, moved to the golden state of California at the age of eleven and has been practicing the art of doing random things for past twenty years. While she spends most of her time squeezing her brain out for her Chemical and Biological Engineering degree at MIT, she also likes to play the violin, take photographs, and work with polymer thin-films at the Trout Lab.

Art {Photography}

I got into photography in my sophomore year of high school, when I purchased my first tiny plastic film camera. With much expense and little knowledge, I delved into the world of captured instances. Today, I've moved away from analog photography to a more practical digital photography. With my favorite gadget Canon 6D, I love to document my travels and the people I meet.

Music {MIT Emerson Fellowship Program}

I have played music for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories entails sitting in a percussion class as a three year old waving my hands over triangles and castanets while my mom nervously held up the instruments in front of me. Since those adventurous days, I have learned to play the violin, the viola, and a little bit of piano. At MIT I continue my 13 year old hobbie of playing the violin as an Emerson Fellow, studying under Lynn Chang.
